New School Design in UK, Cayman Islands and the USA

Gareth is committed to the radical new design of school buildings believing that most current schools inhibit students' learning in this rapidly changing world. 

He is education advisor (client side) for the radical new Academy being developed in Portland, Dorset, sponsored by Professor Stephen Heppell, working with project management company E C Harris . This 0-21 plus school will be the first of it's type in the UK.

In the UK he is Head of Education to Balfour Beatty Capital, one of the UK's biggest and most successful construction companies and worked for some years on the 'Building Schools of the Future' project.  (He also works for Balfour Beatty Construction North and Balfour Beatty Scottish on Southern on specific Academy projects.

He is supporting Chicago based architects oWp/p on a new build at one the USA's largest schools

Gareth is now also working with 4:Futures as education advisor on the new Phase 3 BSF schemes in Southwark, working on a number of secondary and Special School projects.

Education into Retail:  Gareth is working with a small team of leading professionals, including Professor Stephen Heppell and 'Team-ago-go' exploring the opportunities of using empty retail units for education opportunities.  This well developed project is currently being explored in two places in the north of England.

Design of new schools is vitally important.  Gareth believes in
